On behalf of a friend(AGAIN),anyone know where i can get the complete version of visual basic? and is visual studio 6 the same as visual basic 6?

Visual Studion 6 includes C++ J++ VB6, Source Safe, other server tools, and COM / OLE tools....

VB6 is just VB6.

He can buy it if he wants from dabs.....

And then he needs to decide which version of vb6 he wants - developer? professional? standard???

May be worth waiting for vb.net as the vb world is about to turn on its head. Why learn/use something thats obsolete in a few months??
