Paintshop pro resizing issue.
I've got some images (3072x2340x16m), i crop them, then when i resize them to 250x250 pixels, they lOOk like ****.
I've done this before with similar pics and they lOOk OK.
- What am i doing wrong?
- or what is the best way to resize these pics for the web??

Never heard of that and google doesn't return anything.
The thing that bugs me is i've done about 20+ similar images, from the same source successfully about 3m ago. But now doing what i thought was just the same (a simple shift+s to resize) is not working.
Can "up" some examples if it helps.

Yup you need to check the "bicubic" box if there is one - Its right there in Photoshop. Dunno about Paintshop Pro.
According to a quick google of "Bicubic paintshop pro" it is there somewhere.
Interpolation - making your images bigger
(yes, yes I know it says bigger, but it does make mention of bicubic sampling in Paintshop Pro)

Thanks for the info guys.
Bicubic is actually in one of the drop downs (Resample). Tried this option but it didn't work.
Then tried "Smart Size" and it worked a treat.
I don't ever remember changing that, but i'm back in business now.

gaz, if you want just to resize images, have a look at an applcation called pixresizer.
its great for getting pictures sized for scoobynet / web use etc....
save faffing about in PS as well and you can batch resize to a new folder, for example
