Wireless standards ? xbox & WAN
As you know ive been playing with streaming media via the pc to my xbox.
currently if you purchase a router, (uk spec) you get B, G, & N spec,
with N supposed the fastest (subject to acceptance), oh and "E" is mooted to be in there as well
Now when you trawl through the Xbox 360 wireless setup "experience",
they highlight the fact that your connecting through "B" spec wireless, and
that its slow? They then proclaim that the Xbox 360 wirless dongle has the
capability to use "A" spec wireless which is uber fast
?
If "A" spec it the best, why are we going the other way? or is A spec slow compared to "N".
Now i'm guessing that when they submitted there wireless dongle for type approval, the bods that be know of this "A" spec capability. so why did they allow it, if we cant use it?
