Default IE 6 - 7 or whatever version there at?

What a f*cked up system this is....

i want to go to a web address 205.166.232.45

so i type it in the address bar ....


so far so good

then i click the arrow ->

and then it turns to two recurring arrows and gives me google web search returns for the address

WTF.... i know what the bl**dy site is, i want to go to it, not have a run down on what it does !!!!

wtf ar the guys at MS on????

Why is it MS's fault Works fine for me in IE7.

If its Cool Web Search you're getting I'd suggest you run some Spyware removal software

I'd say you've got something installed within IE that's screwing you up...

Just tried exactly what you said above, in IE6.0, and it works perfectly - takes me to Belkin.

If you're running IE7, I'd initially try going to Tools, Internet Options, and then on the Advanced tab you can hit "Reset Internet Explorer Settings" and reset it back to 'out of the box' config - which removes all addins and stuff...

Should solve the problem on IE7.... I think there are similar options in IE6, but nothing quite as thorough though.

just loaded a virgin copy of wmce edition


used ie 6 still wont allow access to the belkin sites.

not tried the mtu change on that setup though

very strange
