it's about time we could though - hard disk technology seems the only thing that doesn't advance quickly these days.
looking forward to a nice big flash drive and decent interface.

Prices are dropping pretty quickly - 40% per year they say. Currently you can get a 16GB SSD for £133 at the moment. Not that big, but perhaps you could dedicate a windows partition to it and stick you apps elsewhere. It'll cut boot time by 50% and seek time on windows files is <0.1ms
