Anyone playing this yet?

I must say it makes a refreshing change from other online RTS. It plays more like a FPS, straight to the action. I like the use of massgate and how easy it is to get into the online games.

And as for the visuals, simply the best i've ever seen to date on any gaming platform. A single 8000 GTX runs it like a dream @1640 X 1050

 

I'll play as long as Dave can't bomb the home base

 

Thankfully Kieran the balance is pretty good. No planes as such under your command and infantry can take down choppers np. There are plenty of bombs though

 

 

Fantastic game, great visuals, great gameplay and brilliant online features to boot.

I highly reccomend it to anyone remotely interested in rts's...

SNAFU are still around (just ) - still mainly BF2 but some are trying other games. More than welcome to pop in and you make find other like minded players

And we can add a WiC channel to TS as well.

Of course we might make some exceptions to the open recruitment for some!

 

I stopped playing BF2 after getting to Lt Col.... I found that the number of cheaters was rising exponentially (I think a new hack came out)

I need something online to play again so I may take a look-see

4 people a side? I could always hide my utter incompetence behind multiple other players on BF2.... this might leave me a little vulnerable

Mind you... if I am able to bomb the living poop out of my own side
