Pagination - Word 2000

I have set the page numbers for a document in Windows 2000
as "Page X of Y", and it looks fine in the document on screen, however when printed out each page is numbered "page 1 of 1, page 2 of 2 etc", any ideas?

Erm, 2001 Doh! MY99 DBM Scooby with anthracite alloys. I came up with Chris Ward (MY97 Red Wagon).
Tis the December 2001 issue, has got John's write up in as well.
