Default imac Knumpty questions

Lo all,

I've recently taken the plunge and bought a 17" imac with superdrive and it comes complete with airport extreme, which I believe is a wireless card.

I would like to set up a wireless network in my house, to share my broadband internet connection with my new imac, as well as a windows based laptop and pc.

What is the easiest way to do this? Would an airport extreme do this for me?

If I went with a BT total broadband type package, would it support both the imac and laptop/pc?

cheers Dave

Yes and Yes. You don't need a special wireless router for your Mac, but the Airports are rather nice.

What Jack Said. I've got an iMac and works fine with my BT Home Hub (router) I think you pay a little over the odds for the Apple router as it won't make the internet any faster.
