I'll start:

Level 35

Stuck on mazda roadster factory-spec races

 

Level 31, but haven't tackled any of the endurance races yet.

 

Level 25 and pretty much done all races i can with the current free/awarded cars, i've got 860k credit and started in Asia, any ideas on some purchases?

Also if I race events i've already got gold in does it still level up your cars as i've a lot of cars on level 2,3 ?

I'd concentrate on buying the cars you need for specific model races, like the standard svt focus challenge etc, have a look at what cars you require for other races and when you are finished with them upgrade them to the top of it's class to give you plenty of options when you race online in class-specific races.

Yes I believe it still levels up your car's doing the same races again.

 

I'm level 31 - done all of the early races (bar ones that are waiting to be unlocked when I reach lvl35 etc.) Now looking towards the factory-spec races (ie all cars the same)

 

Any ideas on best purchases for the Flyweight Invitational and Heavyweight Open in proving grounds ?

 

I used the Lotus Exige and the Audi RS6

 

Level 26. Slowed down the career side once I started racing on Live. Not been on it for a few days now though as been away from home... the shakes are kicking in bad!!

 

Level 37. Having a crap time with the Porsche GT2 challenge, that thing's horrible to drive.

 

Is the gt2 the 1970's model? if so, I just didn't accelerate too hard around the bends and it was fine

 

havent had this long im on level 23 and seem to be having trouble getting the power to handling balance right i either have a car thats fast as hell but wont stop or a car that will go round every coner but with little power.

 

about 30K away from level 47.

 

Only on level 23 IIRC but Ive not played it for a week now as Im hooked once again on Pro Evo.

 

Another vote for the Exige - there's also an Exige only race in the factory spec series that you can use it in (so dont mod it if you dont want to buy a 2nd one)

The time trials are incredibly tight, out of the 5 people on here that have completed and that I have on my list there's less than a minute between us.

 

Could you post a piccie up like you did for the Challenge?

I'm probably right down the bottom as I only did enough just to unlock the cars rather than get a good time.

PS how about doing a hot lap leaderboard too

Pretty much all of mine were first lap. You can download Friends ghosts to race as well as car setups.

 

I've just checked my scores on forzamotorsport.net , what does user - 91% mean at the bottom of the leaderboard ?

 

How does that timing work? I think I've only done one time trial race yet that says I've taken 12h (hours!?) to do it?!

 

Have you won the Nissan R390?

Just buy a weight reduction kit for it and it goes under the 2055lbs stipulation

then you race cars that have no hope in hell, even on the AI opponents set to highest level.

I've been too busy on GoW and designing my own liveries!!!

 

Same as every race, you start with a default 30 minute time, once you complete the race your time is used.
