Default Will not connect

I have a wireless network and my laptop connects straight to it but the other 2 computers with wireless see the conection and says good signal but will not let you on the internet. I have put in all the same settings as the laptop but still no joy anybody got any ideas want my laptop back off the kids

MAC filtering on the router? Or encryption?

XP and i have put the same encryption code in to all computers
It will let one computer go on to limewire but no other site or home page

that sounds like MTU (for the limewire computer), can you access any website at all, can you ping websites but cannot access them?

sorry to double check, does pinging a website work

start > run > cmd > ping www,bbc,co,uk

OK, but if ping does work on the limewire computer

MTU Tools

try that with default options

other things it can be but if ping does work as does limewire I would go for MTU being too high.

What make router is it?

which encryption are you using? i recently put on the lastest firmware which has the addition of WPA2-PSK but when i selected this it did as above. Works ok with WPA1+WPA2

MTU should around 1400-1450
