8gb pro duo cards for the PSP
Anybody got one yet? Can get an official Sony one for £99.99 which is cheaper than on ebay currently. Have they only just been released as I was about to buy the 4gb card until I saw the 8gb was available.

bloody hell 8 gb I thought the psp couldnt reconise anything more then that - I have a 2 x 2GB sony fakes which are rapid (no lag) and a sony 4gb fake (lags a bit) so 8 gb fakes will no doubt lag like hell

Had me worried there for a second! Latest devhook supports up to 3.11.
PSP firmware v2.81 or higher is needed to use the 8GB Memory Stick with Sony's portable gaming device.

Yep 2.71 at the moment so need to change anyway for this new card. I'll have a read up on that other one, is it easy to setup? Also what if you have done some stuff with devhook that permanently wrote to the psp, will the new software interfere?
Its easy to setup, see here MaxConsole Forums - 3.0X OE Guide . Not sure what you need to do, if you have written to the falsh with DH. I would imagine its OK, but don't quote me on that. I've never written to the flash before, but have read about it. You probably backed up the stuff you overwrit, so it may be a case of putting that back on.
Its well worth it though.

Well, you don't need devhook. So you scroll over to where devhook normally is, under games, and play the game straight from there. No loading devhook.
Your primary firmware is 3.10 OE (open edition), so that means all the extras you get with late firmware, are readily available; Net access, Camera attachment etc.
There is a recovery mode, so you can switch back to 1.50 anytime.
