What Broadband Package?

Looking to get Sky broadband.
They offer an 8Mb and 16Mb package.

How do I find out whether its worth going for the 16mb package?
Will I notice the difference?

only if you download files, for general surfing you wont notice a difference after about 2mb.. you need to know how far away from your exchange you are to get the full speeds

if you have a router already, grab your line stats here which will give you an indication of what speed you could get
