Default Cable Wireless Router that can limit how much bandwidth each user gets

I have 2 meg Cable broadband,

What i'm after is a wireless router that can limit how much bandwidth each user gets, primarily to limit the other laptops in the house from eating it all up and allow me to download my stuff

something like limiting each user to 256kb and letting me have the rest to myself

Does such a thing exist?

Thanks

Avi

with 3rd party firmware

Broadbandbuyer.co.uk | Linksys WRT54GL 54Mbps Broadband Wireless-G Linux Router

that should do the trick, check the link below for 3rd party firmware

Linksys WRT54GL Linux-based Open Source Firmware

and

Linksysinfo

or something more expensive

Broadbandbuyer.co.uk | Draytek Vigor 2910G VPN Dual WAN Wireless Broadband Router

nice routers they be

Vigor 2910 / 2901VG Router, Firewall and VPN Device

more specs on the above link

something else to consider if you have a PC lying around, would need an access point mind you

Well we share the cost of the broadband between us, but i'm the only one who knows anything about routers etc.. hence, as payment for my skills in getting everyone hooked up, i believe i am entitled to at least half the bandwidth.

My router doesn't support QOS at the moment, i have a D-Link DI-604 Cable Router and an Access Point

Looking at replacing both these with a wireless router.

Any suggestions as to a QOS enabled router?
