I know it's comp related, but it's tumbleweed in there at best....

I want something decent that is of a rucksack design, so I can chuck a few tools in it if I have to go on a tube etc..

My work laptop lives in a Targus one and its been great. Really hard wearing and well designed, with lots of little pockets and things inside.

Its not a rucksack one, but Im sure they do them. Defo recommend them. Forget how much it was (when its being bought on expenses you tend not to notice price!) but I think about 50quid or so from PCworld

Laptop manufacturers usually have them on their site, just about to order a HP rucksack jobbie now off them, not too bad a price.

I got this (or something for the same price) from Comet for my MacBook Pro
Looks very inconspicuous - just like a ruck sack
BAG

Another vote forr Targus, got mine from PC world for 25.00 several years ago, had a half price deal on.

It is well made and has a tough padded slip case for the laptop to sit inside, this also fits in a briefcase which is handy.

It is several years old, had a hard life and still like new.

Now you're in the right forum...

I've got a Targus rucksack - the Sport Deluxe. The only reason I'm on my second is some lowlife nicked my first (with laptop) out the boot of my car. Loads of space for tools, odds and sods.

Crumpler Base Toucher, sounds **** but very good. Comes in a couple of sizes depending on the size of your laptop. Can't be opened by someone behind you when you have it on either, the zips are on the the other side of the shoulder straps. Removable laptop holding section velcros in. They also don't look like you're carrying a laptop inside, which is useful.

(what is wrong with SN? So unresponsive, took ages to edit this)

I'e got one of these PAKUMA ~ CLICK HERE FOR LINK, really nice actually and well made.

Nice seperate, well padded (Foam designed by NASA apparently ) pocket inside to protect the laptop and it doesn't "look" too much like a laptop bag if you know what I mean.

Rockdirect are a supplier in the UK.
