Is it possible for me to have my xbox live account on 2 xbox 360 want to get another one for when i'm not at home

Keep it on a memory card. It will save you having to recover it each time.

Another idea - why not swap your HDD from machine to machine? At least then you'd have all your current game saves on whichever console you were on.
