Xvid and movies play all red colour

Question Xvid and movies play all red colour
After a re-install of XP all my moveis now have a deep red tinge. I've dl'd all the xvid codecs, divx codecs, ffdshot etc but they still all play with a red colour. Even the net movies play red. I'm baffled! Any ideas?

Try re-installing the latest media player and dump any codec packs as these are the usual culprits

Fair enough, but I have MP 10 and VLC media player also plays everything in red so it's not a codec problem.

I had exactly the same problem and downloaded media player 11 and stripped out all codecs and re-installed DivX, et voila, working videos.

Cheers lightening, but it was my sli gfx drivers. Sorted now
