struggling with "IF" statements, excel

Default struggling with "IF" statements, excel

as title, can do simple "IF" statements, but can't remember how to do IF (x>0 then result of formula) but IF x<0 "NIL" ....not sure if that makes sense, but it should do to those of you in the know

can anyone help please? it's driving me mad!

You haven't posted the formula you wanted inserting so:

=IF(X>0,INSERT FORMULA HERE,0)

IF(logical_test,[value_if_true],[value_if_false])

Nest one IF inside the other.

=IF((O20-P20)>0, (O20-P20),0)
