Question Backup Exec problem

Got a client that is running BE 10d on SBS2003 with a BE agent on W2K3 64 bit running SAP & SQL Server 2000. When they try to back up the SQL database they are getting a 'file is skipped' message. They have the SQL agent on the SBS box. Symantec say this configuration is not supported.

Has anyone come across this problem and know how to fix it?

TIA

Mark

Is this when trying to backup the database through the agent, or is this the file in the E:\MSSQL\DATA\master.ldf (for example) file that is being skipped?

if its a file in the normal explorer view then its normal to be skipped as SQL keeps the files open

Cheers Sonic, I'll get hold of the log file and see what's what.
