Default Audiobooks on iPod question

I want to get an audiobook cd onto my iPod, and for it to be in the audiobooks section of the iPod once i've put it on there. My question is this. How do I get it to show up in the audiobooks part of the iPod and not in the music section?

I'm crap with technological things of this magnitude, so please tell me in simpleton terms.

Try ripping the CD with iTunes and see if it automatically detects it's an audiobook. If not, find the file that iTunes creates and change the extension to .aa (this is what Audible.com uses for it's downloadable audiobooks) and that may well cause iTunes to "see" it as an audiobook.
