US Robotics - top customer service
Just under a couple of years ago I bought a cheap wireless access point from them. Never buy USR stuff as don't normally like it but bought it because it was cheap. Anyway it recently died and thought i'd just get another one until I realised they had gone from about £12 I paid for it to well over £50. I checked the USR site and found it had a 2 year warranty. Contacted their customer support and gave them the serial number. They said it was out of warranty but if I could provide proof of purchase they would go by that. Anyway thought i'd never still have that but then realsied i'd still have the emails from Scan where I bought it from. I sent them these and they said no problem we will replace it Sent it back and within a week they had sent me a new one free of charge
Now thats what I call excellent customer service which for me is a rare thing these days as most places aren't interested beyond 1 year for home use items.
