Default Getting CD's onto a MP3 Player

Help required for a music novice

I've bought the wife a Creative MP3 player to listen to "Take That" and "Robbie" during quiet moments ........LOL

I just wondered what was the best way to get CD tracks into MP3 format so she can listen to her CD's ??

Thanks

Shaun

I take it you have Windows XP? Windows Media Player 10 is free & does an excellent job of it.

I use a program called Ashampoo MP3 Audio Centre. Has a nice wizard that guides you through the whole process. Even gets the tracks for the albums and normalizes the volume of each CD so they are all at the right volume level.

Trial version can be got from here:

Creative MediaSource should be on the CD you got, which is also very good.

You can also download plug-ins for your MP3 player so that Mediasource recognises it when plugged in and it may well give you some more options, specific to your player.
