Exclamation Cant save picture as jpeg, only bitmap.

Tool-options-delete cookies and delete files doesn't work. I've tried it a few times and even retarted my pc a few times. I get this constantly and when i am able to save a picture as jpeg,it only last a week or so,then its back to bitmap.

Any ideas?

Yep, as pointed out above, too much stuff in your history causes the problem. Its a recognised bug in internet explorer, too much browsing filling the cache.

I've tried the normal stuff like delete cookies/files in tools -options etc,and the method 2 from Mogsi. Neither work.

What about a program like window-washer?

Try this KB instead:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=810978

Especially the section which covers "Downloaded Program Files"

Cool

Still no joy.

"In the Status column, note the files that are listed as either Unknown or Damaged. Remove these files. To do so, right-click the file, and then click Remove."

There are none listed.

The MS KB articles usually fix that problem. Reinstall IE as a last resort I guess.

None of the MS KB articles worked. I'll try re-installing IE then.

That doesn't deinstall IE that just removes the IE icons from desktop and startmenu.
