Question backing up emails in outlook express

I'm just about to go and get a new pc today but I don't want to lose the emails that I already have in outlook express. Is there a way of saving these and importing them into outlook on the new pc?

Thanks

At present I'm using windows 2000 version 5.00.2195 service pack 4 and the version of outlook express is 6.00.2800.1123 (I think)

Install Mozilla thunderbird so so much simpler to backup your emails afterwards with a utility. Oh and a much better email client to boot
