Hi there, I'm looking to purchase some web space and am wondering who to go with.

My requirements are pretty simple, it's only for a personal site. The best I've come across is £17/year for 50mb space and 1gb traffic, with 34sp.com.

Does anyone know anywhere any cheaper/better? Or even a guide that rates webhosting companies?

Ta.

If it's personal and non-profit making doesnt your current isp offer you free webspace. I'm with NTL and i'm sure my webspace is around 50meg.

Or are you after a specific domain name?

I designed a site for a friend a while ago and they hosted it on www.1and1.co.uk without any problems.

I get mine through Lycos. Costs me about £5 a month for 10gb bandwidth and 1000mb of space.
