I have just done this, but found that Outlook hasn't brought in all my emails from my Wanadoo server, only selected ones & missed off all from last Friday onwards, however new ones come in OK.....any ideas why ?

Above hasnt worked for me (why is it always me?) I get the following error: Oulook could not connect to the outgoing mailserver (SMPT). The problem could be the server name or port, or your server may not support SSL. Verify your port and SSL settings in More Settings under the Advanced tab.

Looked in 'Advanced' couldnt find a translation for people like me think im going to

John

I have Norton & Windows Security running, one (or both) of those blocking some emails ? Or can this be tweaked in Outlook settings ?
