Default Small networks

I've just set up a wireless network, with my pc as the main point. Everything seems to be working fine on the laptop as far as getting onto the internet is concerned.

This is the problem I need help with though... The printer is plugged into the pc, is it possible to print from the laptop using the network I've setup, or do I need to unplug the cable and swap it everytime? (I've tried searching for a printer.) Also I would like to move some files between the 2. Is this possible? If so how?

I have secured the network BTW

Thanks in advance

Hi Ben
You can share both your printer and files over the network. Microsoft and other websites have good step by step guides.

Mogsi, I haven't shared the printer yet.... I don't know how to!

RoadrunnerV2, I'll check that link out.

Thanks

Bear in mind that the PC you have the printer connected to has to be left switched on if you want to print from any other PC.
