Default Nokia N70 - Contacts/Name Display

Peeps,

Seem to have developed an issue with my N70. I have roughly 100 contacts stored on a 1gb card.

When making or receiving a call the phone is only displaying the phone number rather than the username assigned to that number in the phone book !

Am I missing something obvious here ! Is it ok to have the contacts on the memory card !

Cheers in advance....

I've had the same thing and put it down to possibly the number being stored in 2 contacts so it show the no. rather than either contacts.

As above, names and numbers that are duplicated won't show. You'll need to sift through the whole lot and edit/delete the offenders.

Nokia PC Suite has a contact manager, although I haven't used it, my N70 is synced with Outlook and I tidy up my contacts from there.

Nokia PC Suite is actually really good. Was quite impressed. Seems like Nokia have come a long way with their software.
