Default Brain dead, programming help needed.

I want to write a small batch file for my pda, to copy & replace some files.

its been so long since i did any of this dos type stuff my brain has got addled,

and i cant remember the syntax for copying and repalcing files.

and how do i save it as a batch or self executing file

any help would be appreciated

Open a command prompt and type
xcopy /?

That should give you all the info you need...

create a notepad file and enter

xcopy c:\path\filename.* d:\destinationdriveandpath /Y

replacing filename and destination with the appropriate paths, folders etc.

save it with the extension .bat
