WD Raptor hard disk - buy additional cooling?
I'm looking to buy a raptor as my new c: drive
As it runs at 10,000rpm I was wondering if it would be prudent to get some additional cooling for it ?
My system uses a typical cooling system - nothing special, just cpu fan, and a couple of extractors. Its suits my needs fine.
However, would the raptor be happy in that environment or should I buy something that would help it keep its temps down ?
Perhaps something like this ?

It wouldn't hurt to have extra cooling. It should help prolong the life a little. Have a look here:

As you can see it's no the hottest drive going. (Temp Wise).
