Which Laptop?

Nearly reached my saving goal for buying a laptop. Got about £800 max to spend. Anyone recommend a decent brand/model?

Been looking at a few Acer models with 15.4" screen and a gig of RAM, tempting.

Any links, suggestions would be appreciated,
