Default Sorry, another wireless LAN problem!

my wireless connection keeps going at random intervals, it'll have an 'excellent' connection 1 minute, then it'll lose it for a few seconds then come back???

bit annoying, esp when i'm in the middle of a ranked game on halo2!!!

(running live through pc with internet connection sharing)

uaing a d-link wireless router and d-link network card btw

any help greatly appreciated, had this prob over a year now!

Usual advice for this type of problem seems to be check your router has the latest firmware, and try going back to basics and using your connection without any encryption and see if the problem is still there.

Had d-link wireless router and network card and had the same problems. Tried tons of different things and nothing worked. In the end, sold it all on e-bay and bought a Belkin equivalent and never let me down and have not done a thing differently in the set-up. I reckon different modems appear to have different results, so this may be your best bet in the long run.
