Default **I've lost my icons - help?**

Yesterday I used Norton to optimize my hard drive. I don't know whether this has caused my problem but when I log into scooby net I used to be able to see the icons down the side of the page now I'm getting nothing or red crosses and even as I'm typing this thread, all I've got above me is little red dots where the icons used to be to do various things, ie. aligning text, inserting smileys, etc. Also when I want to look at photos in the gallery I can only see the little red cross. I think I need to enable something or set something in the tools - options but I can't remember what to do or how to do it......can anyone assist me please

Chris

ps. Most of my post icons at the bottom of the page are missing too!

That won't work.

Go to tools menu, internet options, click the advanced tab. scroll down to the multimedia section in the list and tick the box beside show pictures. Close your internet explorer window and reopen, problem fixed.

Could be, sounds like the image option is turned off though.
