Help with wireless "media player" purchase
Situation:
New lounge setup has wooden floor, and it's a complete mission to run cales from my PC to my TV - thus making it very difficult to play movies (from my PC) on my TV.
There are two solutions:
1. get a small PC (shuttle ish) - but quiet to play movies stored on PC via wireless.
2. Buy a hardware wireless "movie player"
Hardware options are:
clicky 1
clicky2
clicky3
Of the 3 possible the second one.
If anyone has done this before I'd really appreciate some advice / recommendations.

I have the d-link - no issues now I have junked the dlink media server and using windows media connect (currently I am beta testing version 2 - very good)
If I was starting from scratch and had the spare cash I would go for a full media pc to do all the jobs dvd recorder tv tuner etc etc

I'm building a media PC from bits I had lying around / a few new purchases.
Spec will be...
Athlon 2700 (NOT 64bit)
A-Bit m/b with SATA / SPDIF out
160gb hdd
Geforce 6200 gfx
Nova-T Digital TV card.
Media Portal s/w
PSU fan will probably be noisyest (sp?!) to start with but I'll upgrade over time. Tv volume should cover it!
But I did look at the Pinnacle showcenter - maybe an option for upstairs later on

Pinnical have just released the "showcenter 200" which looks better as it offers HDTV out - which gives it some more longevity & built in wireless (& lan).
I looked at the media center PC route, but really don't fancy another pc kicking about in the house & it costs alot more.
Talking to some friends, possible a modded x-box with a wireless hub is also an option, but I think I'll go with the showcenter 200.
