Default Windows 2000 W/S - 10 concurrent connections

Is this a hardcoded thing, or is there a registry hack / patch? Our document imaging system runs on a W2000 workstation, as advised by the supplying company, and we are now finding as it gets more popular people cannot connect.

I've heard rumours of being able to by-pass the 10 concurrent connection limit but can't say I've tried them myself. Google might turn something up. If it's an important application I'd be worried about system stability post-hack.

Just trying to keep customer services off my back till we've got our new servers over here, then i'll think bout migrating their stuff to its own server

I'll have a look on google - i'd been looking on technet, can't understand why it didn't tell me what i wanna know
