well if it's chipped then you need Xbox media centre.

I run a streaming prog on my PC called ccxstream and run Xbox media centre to access all my movies/music. you'll have to search bittorrent for the XBMC file.

have looked at that but doesnt seem to support dvr-ms just yet.
