Slipstreaming and auto installs.
Hi peeps,
Finally got round to creating a slipstreamed XP Pro install disk. It seems fine but I have a couple of questions.
Firstly, I know it is possible to make the "Agree to this licence" bit in the GUI disappear so to speak, but what is the setting.
Also because we have approximatly 100 users here all with a mixture of dells, hp and compaq. I dont think I can use a singular key off the one machine.
Ideally I want this to be 1 key across the company (ie use one the dell keys) Can I do this.
If this doesnt work, is it legal to get an non oobe key and use it ? Because all the machines have a legit XP pro COA just I dont want to have to create 25 different install disks because it kinda defeats the object.
Cheers Stu

im pretty sure you will need a site license for this, have you created the answer file and renamed to winnt.sif and put it into the i386 folder of windows, there is an option to accept the agrement on the answer file.
check that thread i got some awesome answers from the guys

if you must use the 25 keys, you can put the answer file onto the floppy and change it for every build, arsey but it will still be unattended with the stripping in place
did you use nlite for the stripping? if not check it out
