network problem
ok, 3 pc's in the house on a wired network, 1 on a wifi network, and my pda on the wifi network.
dining: main pc
paige: daughters pc
isaac: sons pc
laptop: wifes pc
axim: pda with wireless adapter
all can share the internet at the same time.
all pc's can "see" each other, all pc's can connect to each other and share files and printers except no-one can connect to or share files and the printer on paiges pc!
I've pinged paiges pc, but no reply. I've pinged from paiges pc to isaacs and dining and got all replys back.
Basically, I've just bought my new pixma printer, and I dont want the kids using it, so I've installed my old printer on paiges pc, (no room in isaacs box room ) and now only she can use it, as can't connect from isaacs pc.
any ideas?
I'm using a vigor usb hub, with my broadband frog connected to that, along with a spark lan wireless network box on the wall.

Is this Win XP?
Check in Network Connections that the IP address is in the same range as the other pcs, also that the workgroup name is the same & that File & printer sharing is installed on the network connection.

If paiges pc is WinXP then disable the network firewall or set an exception to allow file and print sharing and also ping requests.
