If you have AOL broadband, are you able to log in to Hotmail.

I am getting this problem at a clients site and using MacOS9.x and OSX I can't get to Hotmail, not even the log in screen. There is another site it wont go to either...

Do AOL control what sites their BB users can get too that much?

Seems confusing, I can get to SN OK, so it can't be that choosey...

This used to work fine over modem and the B Brouter does not have any settings that would imply this sort of restriction, its a basic BT voyager modem.

Aol sometimes blocks hotmail due to spam

You could try talking to the so called techie people ? online and see what they have to say

I use AOL but not hotmail so I cant tell you if it works or not for me

 

I use AOL Broadband and Hotmail and have had no problems at all....

Really odd, I can configure the computer to go through a proxy server and everything is fine (dont want to have to do that though).
