Can you get a USB splitter ?
My IBM thinkpad only has 1 USB port - can I get a splitter to create 2 ports ?
Would there be any degredation in broadband signal (my Wanadoo modem is currently plugged into the port, if I had a splitter then a printer would be added)

You want a mini usb hub. Something like...
