Default Just upgraded sky+ :D

Just thought I'd let you all know that upgrading is really easy and now I have a 250GB HD in it (standard is 40GB).

Gone from 20 hours space to around 120 hours!!!!!

Very happy

What make/model of HD did you use? Mine's out of warranty now so this is on my list

You are best off with a Maxtor 5,400 rpm HD. My 250 GB cost £107 delivered from Dabs.

Have you checked the Sky+ forums??

This site details exactly how easy it is!!

Really am going to have to get round to doing mine.

I'm going to need a bulk order of hard disks... PC could do with one, xbox definitely needs one, and sky+ would be much happier with one in!

John.

lol - Recording the World Super Bikes took up 42%

Some weekends this year will include WSB/BSB/MotoGP/F1 and the missus gets mad if she misses a soap

We fill our 80gb frive regularly. The kids want to save and re-watch loads of stuff, it drives me mad. Then I'll want to watch or record something and they have 2 recordings on the go!!!

250Gb is the way to go - did one of ours about 6 months ago & it's been absolutely fine. I still restrict the kids to 40Gb on theirs though
