Another GT4 thread - Steering Wheel or not?
Ok just about to pre-order GT4 (£29.99 from Gameplay.co.uk incidentally or £30.99 with 1st class post, £32.99 from play.com I think)
Anyway I'm a big fan of the GT series but I've never had a steering wheel/pedals before for a console, I do however have a Momo Racing FF wheel/pedals for the PC and GTR, RBR & even Toca Race Driver 2 are amazingly realistic!
Firstly is there any way I can use my PC's MOMO Racing wheel & pedals with the PS2?
If not, is it worth buying a cheap wheel probably without FF or should I just not bother? The PS2 FF wheel I've seen is £89.99 and just couldn't justify wasting that much money when I've recently got the MOMO which cost £70ish.
Unless there are some of you guys that can persuade me that an extra £50+ on a wheel set is money well spent and I'll get so much more out of the game?
Thanks In Advance

a lot of the new wheels can be used on PS2, Xbox and PC so maybe worth selling yours on ebay and getting the newer one? Logitech Driving Force Pro seems to be the one the GT hardcore gamers go for....

I dont like FF, so will probably buy the Logic 3 Top Drive GT4, which works on both PS2 and Xbox, and probably PC.
Its only £30 from gameplay and I originally had a TopDrive on PS1 and it was pretty good.

I'll be sticking with the DualShock 2.
Never been a fan of wheels - rather spend my cash on the other 2 big games out in March - MGS3 & TimeSplitters Future Perfect.
PS - if I order from GamePlay, am I likely to get it early?

GT driving force pro shares a lot of internal's with the momo force - is the momo force 900degree rotation?
If so, the PS2 should see it fine, try it with Toca2 \ burnout3 etc?
Failing that, sell the momo and get the DFPro, works with PC and PS2 wonderfully, is a great piece of kit. Is finally a wheel that is a "simulator" not a "toy".

Nope, although I believe the Xbox connectors are "technically" USB, obviously they are not USB shaped... if someone made an adapter maybe...
However, it would never support the DFP's feedback, as the xbox is not capable of this...
Ian.
