Converting VBR WMAs to Fixed Bit Rate
Hi All
I have all of my music on the PC, and have recently started being less skimpy with the bit rate and am using ~160kbps variable bit rate WMA. My Panasonic MP3/WMA headunit does not seem to like these and shows Error 4 (cannot read files). The manual does say not to use VBR, but it worked fine when they were ~64kbps VBR or fixed bit rate.
Is there some piece of software that will convert my existing files to a fixed bit rate without me needing to re-rip the CDs?
Cheers,
Ben

Well just for anyone's reference, I did it with iTunes which converted VBR WMA to FBR MP3, so we'll see if the headunit is happy with those.
