Question Xbox + PC + Router - What do i need?

Already done a search on this but haven't found my answer. Can someone please take a couple of minutes and help me as I know nothing about what I'm trying to do....

I have a PC upstairs with a Wanadoo broadband modem connected. This only has one cable coming from it and thats a USB which at the minute goes stright into the PC. I have an Xbox downstairs that I want to use for online gaming. I have the Xbox starter kit but now realise I need a router or something similar. What exactly do I need to have both my PC and Xbox connected whenever I want. Any recommendation on specific products would be gratefully recieved. Do I leterally need just a router? If so which one?!

Thanks in advance for anyones help.

Simon

Yep, if you want both to be able to access the web at the same time, you'll need a router. Do a search on here for xbox router and you should pretty much find all you need

No probs. You should be up and running with little effort, but if you do encounter any problems, post on here and I'm sure you'll get sorted

a cheaper way is to install a netwoek card in your PC , enable internet sharing and run a cable from your pc's network card to your xbox. Thats the way I used to do it before I got a router

I have a netgear FM114P wireless router connected to my DSL modem and then my xbox plugged into the router all my PCs are wireless so don't need plugging in.

I have no probs with xbox live and surfing at the same time all is on demand, It is not as hard as you think to set up, and you don't need wazzy expensive kit to do it.
