Default any freeware sites??
i am looking for any cheap or freeware

1, looking for a vid editing sw,. which will cut, paste, mpg. wm etc
2, vid conversion ie .mov to 3gp, to avi etc

Some starter links for you:

VirtualDub for editing

CODEC's from free-codecs.com, I like the K-Lite pack myself

QuickTime Pro also comes in handy, although Apple's MPEG4 CODEC isn't the best and it won't play MPEG2 natively unless you buy the plugin.

Windows Movie Maker for editing, free with XP and very easy to use. Then the converters above if needed.
