Default Ripping just audio from a DVD??

Hi All,

Ive got quite a few music dvd's which I would like to lay the sound track down onto CD, can I rip just the audio from a dvd, if so how can this be done.
The method I'm using at the moment is to play the DVD in real time and record the audio onto the computer and edit it from there, as you can imagine this can take ages to do, there must be a quiker way???
