Xbox Live on capped BB service
Does anyone use Xbox Live on a limited BB service? its just that I was thinking of upgrading to Pipex 1mb lite [27.99pm] but it has an 8GB monthly limit.
Any ideas how much bandwidth Live uses?

Don’t know about Xbox live as I use xlink my self. The bandwidth meter I use recons I’m using no more than 4-5K/sec in both directions when just playing a game, I suppose hosting a game would be more demanding on your bandwidth.

Bandwith will not be a problem, reason broadband is used for live is purely for the very low pings.
As previously mentioned most online games will not use more than 5kb/sec.
My boss in work plays a MMORPG every night (uses more bandwidth than most online games) and his monthly usage stats are mostly under 400mb/month, and this includes checking and sending email most nights and a bit of surfing.
and even when it has been higher than 400mb/month the highest its ever been was 700Mb/month
