Default Connect NTL Cable Modem to Router

Hiya

This might be a stupid question but how do you connect the above together, the only connections on the Modem are Power, USB and the NTL Cable, can't see any Ethernet Ports.

Thanks in advance

The modem on my NTL line has USB and Ethernet ports on the back. What sort have you got?

If you haven't got an Ethernet port on your modem and want one, ring them up and ask them for a modem that has ethernet ports on it. Tell them you are running Linux and you can't get a unix device driver for the USB modem and hence can't use it. Ethernet connection does not need a device driver on Linux.

You should be able to get what you want this way
