Really cool game.

Completed the first two games in the series, and think this is the best yet. Sniper level was really ingenious!

 

I'm assuming you're playing the US version...

shame - cos they've pulled out the stops with this one.

best jungle scenery I've seen - and that includes Far Cry.

picture the scenario - you're tasked with making it through a dense jungle to arrive at a cave opening on the north side. Catch is, the legendary sniper "THE END" is lying in wait. He's so good you can only detect him with a sound amplifer (he mutters to himself a lot) or thermal goggles or motion detector. Its a classic case of cat & mouse and its superb.

I openend up on him with my own sniper rifle when the thermal goggles detected movement on a ridge above me, Imagine the disappointment when I climbed te ridge to find I'd annhilated a deer. After discovering the corpse I realised I was standing upright on the edge of a ridge totally exposed and got a single bullet shot to my head as my reward. The ba$tard had picked me off from a neighbouring ridge!

Has Harry Gregson-Williams done the soundtrack again? The Score from MGS2 was superb.

 

The soundtrack to MGS3 and intro will blow you away. Bond anyone ?
