Just want to check something here.

Somone is getting a Olympus Digicam for xmas, it uses xD cards (bloody small aren't they!).

Anyway, the Q is, would a fuhifulm xD card work with an Olympus camera?

I've got a minolta and it will read any brand of Compact Flash cards, so I assume the same rule is true.

I just want to make sure as this is a xmas pressie and I've purchased it over here so a bit hard to exchange and get a working one back to the uk.

As far as I know the XD card from Fuji should work in compatible cameras of which trhe Olympus is one. Any good camera shop should be able to advise you on this but try phoning your nearest Jessops. Always find them very helpful.

Anymake XD card should work in any XD capable camera. The Olympus XD however has a feature that only Olymus Cameras use. Other brands don't carry the feature.

I've used both Olympus and Fujifilm XD cards in my camera.
