XBOX + Broadboand connection
I have an xbox connected to the telly in the front room and I have a PC in the spare bedroom upstairs connected to my broadband connection. if I wanted to get online what would be the quickest/easiest and cheapest way of getting xbox online. I would buy PES4 but dont fancy paying another £30-£50 for xbox live pack, would a ethernet cable ran to my broadband modem just get me up and running straight away?
EDIT: read that you need the headset to get working too? plugs into the spare joypad port?

In that case just plugging straight into your cable modem will be the cheapest option...
Instructions here
You will however need an Xbox live subscription, 12mths with headset no more than £40, alternatively some of the latest games ( Halo2 ) come with a free 2mths trial....
